It wasn't a bluff. Just so much to drink he couldn't see his cards, never mind know he was holding the winning hand. It'd been his lucky night. His alcohol heavy arms couldn't have bet more even if he wanted to.
He celebrated with another one for the road before staggering out. Fumbled drunkenly in his pockets but the car's key-free system unlocked itself.
The key stayed hidden with no sobering game trying to get it in the ignition. Just pressed a button; drove straight into his card partner. Killed him instantly.
It hadn't been his night at all.
