Jimi Hendrix started his career with a one stringed Ukulele he’d found whilst clearing an old ladies rubbish. She’d said he could keep it.

He then picked out Presley’s Hound Dog repeatedly on it. Teaching himself by ear. But imagine sharing a house with him. The sound of that. Over and over again.

Would you put up with it?

Imagine if someone hadn’t. Ukulele taken away. Would we still have had Hey Joe in a purple haze along the Watchtower?
