Lilliput-on-Sea

We’re here. Our holiday cottage with sea view looks very pretty. It’s a former fisherman's dwelling, but I get the impression that the fishermen round here were remarkably short. Maybe they only caught little fish?

Every seat in every room is so close to the floor one gets an idea of just how short their little legs were. And only Japanese futons beat the beds for proximity to the deck.

I’m not tall, but struggled to get out of the bed. And with a very bad back, I thought I’d never get vertical again!

But the little fish were delicious.
