In the UK, apparently the seasons go like this:

Autumn: September, October, November - falling leaves, fabulous decay.

Winter: December, January, February - brrrr!... sounds right.

Spring: March, April, May - yep! the season of growth and optimism.

Summer: June, July, August - the Sun in it’s glory. Sort of makes sense.

And Midsummer Day this year apparently falls on June 24. Now that makes no sense! Some even say it’s on June 21, the longest day. Rubbish!

I’ve done some arithmetic, thinking maybe the real Midsummer Day was the day we married. A near mere miss! But the next day, it was Mrs.
