A Trifle Too Much

Christmas 2022 - a great year for me. I got my just desserts. Christmas Pud with rum sauce - delicious, chocolate orange torte - incredibly indulgent, but the pièce de resistance was Mrs H’s trifle. And nobody except me chose it, not even Mrs H who felt she must avoid so much cream! All for me.😋

So this year, sadly, the recipe was halved! And of course this year everyone wanted some! My portion was decidedly meagre. Even Mrs H felt sorry for me. So last week she made me the other half!

But apparently, that’s it until Christmas 2024😭. (Probably best.... unless...!)
