Being only 5 minutes drive away, we often call round to see the grandchildren in the neighbouring village.
I dropped in the other day. “Hello Baba.” said Harry (8), looking up from his handheld computer game to smile at me.
“Hello Harry, how was school today?”
“Good!”
Then I went searching for Lily (3). I found her in the living room with her back to me fiddling with Harry’s partially deflated birthday balloon.
”Hello Lily”
“I’m busy!” she replied, neither looking up nor turning round.
”Thanks for the welcome!” No reply.
But I was happy. Being busy is ‘good!’ too!

Good for you. Our grandchildren, aged 22 to 28 live in Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Seoul. Going to Seoul next March. Booked on the DMZ trip.

Wow Brian! You’re brave! I just looked it up online. Fascinating I’m sure, even if Clinton described it as the scariest place on earth (and he’s been to places he shouldn’t! 😂). I wonder if it will be scary enough 😬 to curb the urge to laugh like a drain at the soldiers’ ministry of silly walks routines!🤔. We’ll expect to read lots of drabbles about your experiences!😁. It should be a fantastic experience. Good for you!
