The pretty little church where the King’s grannie was baptised was packed for the Autumn Concert. We’d chatted to friends beforehand, so ended up sitting at the back. But at least we could see everything!

Whilst All Saints dates back to the Twelfth Century, the interior is dominated by an extraordinary Georgian screen, in mossy green...... and new green pews, rescued from the recent filming of ‘Emma’, pay tonal homage.

Piano, organ, arias, folk songs and the village choir melded with theatrical interludes to ensure a truly sensory delight.

I think I heard the Queen Mum’s spirit singing along too!

I suspect your Mojo will rise again Neville, if it hasn't already.
