The winter’s chill that destroyed many of our established shrubs, followed by this heatwave and warnings to older folk to stay indoors during the day, means our routine has changed somewhat.
Our garden is ‘planned chaos’. Terraced, due to being on a hill, the planting tumbles over weathered railway sleepers. Endless foliage frames carefully curated colours as blooms replace blooms across the seasons.
It’s hot right now, and dawn wakes early... as do we!
No time to waste... out into the garden at crack of dawn for planting, weeding and watering. Dress code: pyjamas, nighties and slippers. And why not!

Very nice. I like the subtle alliteration tucked in to the middle of this.

Thanks Christopher and Jamie. I snuck in the alliterations, Christopher, knowing that they would be spotted😁. And I’m so glad you were able to join us Jamie 🌱🌿🍃🌺🥀🌸
