There was a sharp intake of breath as the beautiful dress slid effortlessly off the shoulders and fell in a neat circle on the floor. Hollywood couldn’t have filmed it better. Tracking down from the shoulders though was a real disappointment... or maybe another Hollywood trick. Where was the Botticelli Venus? Where were the curves of desire? Where was the erstwhile inhabitant of the beautiful haute couture creation? One could only imagine... for she was nowhere. Whisked away with the up-draught of the dress’s downfall. Gone!
”Ere, Jackie, what’s Jean-Paul gonna say? This ‘ere coathanger’s no bloody good!”

Took me ages to get it. Two days to be honest 🤣 Now, I think I got it! Key words ''I think''.
Jean Paul gave me the first clue and the coathanger the second but maybe there is some other subtility I have missed? perhaps?...
Since it made think, I think it is excellent writing. Show, don't tell at its best....

Thanks Frenchie. My plan was that it was just one of Jean-Paul Gaultier’s dresses falling off a broken coat hanger... but that would have been more than a bit dull as a drabble!🥴
