Five days to go. Idus Martiae. The day for the settling of debts.

What do you owe? To whom? What is owed to you? Better beware; better prepare!

Julius wasn't prepared, was Ee? Eh? And settlement of his IOU was Brutal...

But Why?

Caesar was getting too big for his sandals. And consonant with that, defeating all opposition... becoming 'Dictator Perpetuo', might provide the clue.

(‘Dictator Perpetuo’, some still prosper - they'd better beware the Ides of March!)

Wednesday next... ‘Woden's Day’. Saxon King of Gods. Aka 'Grim'!

Better keep your wits about you! But not if you owe your Wits!

Wodenstag - old German for Wednesday, more recently replaced by the much less interesting Mittwoch (midweek!... how boring is that!). Woden, was the Chief or King of the Anglo-Saxon gods; his nickname was 'Grim'!

Woden was the most powerful of gods. Power... just what you need on a Wednesday to get through the rest of the week!
