Tim and Anna argued about who was responsible for the break up. They should have been a perfect fit. However, differences in the way things should be laid out was the first argument.
Then disagreements on what fitted where resulted in them deciding to draw some demarcation lines; his side, and her side. It seemed a sensible idea, enabling them each to meet in the middle. Give and take should be the corner-pieces of a successful relationship.
But when they did meet, something was missing. One little something.
Their relationship was in pieces, as was the unfinished secondhand jigsaw.

A bit of Saturday silliness!

Not sure if it works, but I was trying to get across that the jigsaw had a piece missing... in the middle... and by extrapolation that it’s not smart to buy secondhand puzzles! 🥴

It does indeed work. Unfortunately, though, missing pieces aren't relegated to secondhand puzzles. On two different occasions I bought brand new puzzles still sealed that had pieces missing. And I didn't lose them either. That's when I gave up doing puzzles.

I don’t have the patience for doing puzzles, and it’s a bit too solitary for me.
