Many will have heard of global furniture/ lifestyle giant IKEA’s special Swedish meat balls, the most popular dish on their café menus. On the back of its success, apparently they are now dipping their toes into the food business with their acquisition of a Swedish dairy.
They are taking inspiration from Denmark just across the Oresund and think that they have found a way to muscle in on the business of butter giant Lurpak. With so many of their population living in apartments, the canny Swedish furniture giant has targeted them with its own version.
They have called it Flatpak.
