Little Lily’s just turned two
She really was excited
Her little chums went round to play
Me too (I was invited.)

Her birthday cake was pretty pink
And Granny made it too
With chocolate, butter, sugar.
(All things good for you.)

We took her round our presents
A highchair and a cot
Just for little baby doll
Which pleased the little tot.

Looking after baby
She’s busy playing mum
A mother’s work is never done!
But Lily’s work is fun!

So happy birthday Lily
She had great fun I think
All in her favourite colour
You guessed it, Peppa pink!

Thanks Verity. Lily loves hugs! She’s an exciting little thing. Peppa Pig is a popular little kids’ character over here, and Peppa’s very popular with Lily.
