Belief

I was listening to the radio yesterday. It was Sunday Love Songs, and today would be Valentine’s Day. A well known DJ introduced listeners’ choices of tracks to accompany messages of undying love, sometimes cringeworthy, sometimes sweet, but always emphatic.

Part of me grudgingly realises I might not be the only one who can possibly love someone as much as I love my wife. How could anyone else! All the things she is and does. How could anyone else love someone so much?

But I guess the truth is I’m not the only one! But I still don’t believe it!
