Off to the department store for Christmas shopping today. It might’ve been a struggle for Mrs H alone, so she enlisted my help. She drove, our daughter rode shotgun, and me and Lily were in the back, busy singing nursery rhymes. (Not a bad deal so far!)

But when we arrived we couldn’t park nearby so I was detailed for wheelchair pushing duty. (Fair enough; I’d had it easy so far!)

But Little Lily, not even 2 years old, decided she would push her mum’s wheelchair... which she did, all the way. We sure raise ‘em tough in our family!

Phew! Finally my 2,800th. It’s taken far too long to get here in the current depressing climate🥴

That's some feat Neville. I mean your 2'800th drabble but well done to your grand daughter of course! ;-)

Thanks Jamie. She was doing all the pushing, I was merely steering. She’s tiny so she couldn’t see where she was going. The really great thing was that she was so busy pushing that she didn’t think about jumping in the puddles in the gutter!

Thank you, Neville. Once again, nice to be back. I really need to learn to make time for myself because coming here is like my ''lifeline...'' It keeps me relatively sane and stress free🤣😊
