Rose’s phone rang and she couldn’t answer it because at that moment her hands were full with little bunches of flowers she was selling around Covent Garden Market. She quickly stuffed the bunches of flowers into her pocket to enable her to take the call. In vain though, at first ring... but the caller rang again shortly after with a warning. It was her supplier warning of a danger that these particular flowers might induce sneezing fits.

But it was too late. Her customers were already sneezing uncontrollably around her, as was Rose. Horror, as they all hit the ground.

I've read this three times and I'm not sure if it's actually vague or if I'm missing something obvious. Of course, it's 3 am here and I still haven't been to sleep so that may have something to do with it!

Oh damn! It IS because it's 3 am here! Very clever. I'm just sleepy and a little slow.

You’re not so much slow as tired out. Hope you get some sleep soon, Christopher.🤞

Thanks. I was writing and posting a drabble I've had on my mind all day before I could go to sleep. Setting the clocks back here over the weekend has really messed up my sleeping.

I hate the clocks going back; it is both depressing (daylightwise) and does indeed screw up one’s metabolism or something.

You nailed this!! Since, when did you start mind reading?! I had the same idea to twist rhymes, but as always this can't be bested !!

You are too kind, Verity. It was fun to concoct.
