Affairs of the heart and head
Heart:
We’re seeing more and more defibrillators appearing in our towns and villages - precautions in the event of heart attacks and other such threats to life. A terrific idea (if only I knew how to access and operate one).
Head:
In these difficult times of Covid and lockdown it’s not just hearts that are under threat. There are ‘trials and tribulations’ we must endure. Knowing what a trial is, I checked out tribulation:
‘A state of great trouble or suffering’
Heads up to entrepreneurs, doctors and government:
‘Can someone please invent a detribulator and put them next to the defibs?’

Good one, Neville, detribulators should be mandatory in all public spaces (and households too..)!

Thanks Frenchie and firefly. We’re hoping she might be coming out of the deep depression shortly, and certainly before our celebration and family party in a week’s time. (More on which anon!)
