IN - a list of all those different things you’ll need - things that go in. The idea is that the different combinations of each thing will result in a completely different thing.
GRE - stands for greed. You’re attracted by things on that list you love... but might not be so good for you. That’s why the list includes specific limits on everything, be they fractions of cups, grams, ounces, millilitres or pints. Too much of the wrong things and maybe you’ll...
DIE - too much butter, salt, sugar... sadly, things that make it taste good!
NT - Needs Time.
S - Scoff!
Bon appetit!

This is really clever.

Thanks. Christopher. I had printed out what had turned out to be a delicious recipe, Cod Wrapped in Parma Ham “deceptively easy dinner for four”, and underneath, in big letters was ‘Ingredients’ and it prompted the idea.

Appetising and perhaps slightly scary at the same time. :-)

Thanks Jamie. It should only be scary if you’re a naughty boy and overindulge in those naughty things that make it taste so good!

Internal dialogue as I watch cooking shows to pass the time during the pandemic!
'Hope you made the recipe, anyway!

D.M... I can’t tell you how glad I am to see you back here. I must admit that I had feared the worst having not seen you here for so very long. I am absolutely delighted to see you back. I always loved your contributions, drabblewise, but also your very supportive comments. Welcome back. And, yes, I did make the recipe and very nice it was too. Cod wrapped in Parma Ham... and it was ‘deceptively easy’ 😊.

Thank you! A new sheepdog and a new time to start writing again...

D.M.... As it happens I have a very small ‘pocket read’ going to print right now of drabbles and drabble series, one of which was prompted by you. I had written a single drabble about a couple of teenage boys who had skipped school and used an unexploded WW2 jettisoned Luftwaffe bomb for target practice with an air rifle. You suggested that I should look at the event from a number of different perspectives... and I did and it became a 16 or so series. So thanks very much for that prompt, D.M. It worked quite well I believe (series title The Trigger)

Well I am so glad you’ll be writing again. Can’t wait! I think the last one you wrote was about the kites/razor blades true story from India.
