Horst was the most notorious chef in Berlin; his food über-contemporary, his restaurant bizarre and his personality explosive. But critics heaped praise on him, partly for the quality of his food... and partly through fear. And rumours rumbled about his murky past.
He specialised in making the ordinary extraordinary. Like his legendary sausages. He’d raised a German basic staple to the hautest of cuisine.
Caustic food critic Gerald decided he must try it himself. Horst spotted him. Horst didn’t like critics, particularly Gerald. He kept him waiting... and waiting. Gerald was apoplectic!
But the wurst was yet to come.

I like it. The drabble I mean not the sausage.

Thanks Marion. Eating German sausage was one of my own wurst culinary experiences, but the beer was OK!

Grooa-Hope I won't be scared to eat my sausage sandwich later. ;-)
