There are tidy people and untidy people. The former are well organised and clear focused; the latter permanently in awe of the former. No prizes for guessing which I am. I’ve my own study, where I can work and write. But lately, it’s such total squalor that even I can’t bear to be there. Problem!

I set myself a deadline for change. Deadlines I can deal with!

Now I have a nice tidy study. I’ve moved loads of stuff out. In carrier bags.

Now the spare bedroom looks shit. It’s amazing the things you can get away with in lockdown!

Hehe. I'm a lapsed tidy person. I prefer neat but the older I get the less I feel like actually getting down to the business of tidying up when I've let things get messy.

At least it sounds like you've got your study how you want it Neville. ;-))

    Good one, Neville!
My desk was such a mess that I could not access my laptop 😐 After months of working from home, everything was piled up haphazardly.
    This morning, I had enough.
Results? desk is tidy but my bed (which happens to be next to it) has become the local wasteland. LOL.

Thanks Frenchie. I’m loving my smart study... it can’t last!
