Nothing like OK!

We’d heard the PM’s daily briefing and the newscaster was explaining the phasing of vaccine distribution. First the most vulnerable... over 90s and care home residents and staff. “OK!”

Then the next most vulnerable, over 80s. “OK!”

Down the age bands. Over 75s next. “OK!”

TV News underscored the information with graphics, perhaps for the hard of hearing, many of whom had just been identified.

Last came the over 70s and those with health risks. But the graphic shown was a man bent double with a walking stick.

“Hey, that’s not like us!” cried Mrs H with indignation! “Not OK!”
