They say it’s a waiting game. Time will tell. Time will heal.

Telling and healing is all very well, but the waiting... that won’t be a game at all... unless one’s seeking more surprise incidents than Formula 1 and more pain than a prizefight. That’s the way it is right now.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is the pain? Ten, definitely ten... maybe even one hurtier... that’s eleven! You might say I’m simply spineless, but I can tell you now, my back is right in it. That’s where it started!

What a nerve!

The sciatic one.

Entertained by this and loved the Spinal Tap reference but so sorry you're suffering like that Neville. 🐝

Thanks Jamie and thanks for your sentiments and the wasp (or is it a bee?). It’s an unpredictable painful beast of a condition. I’ve had it before, but time heals the memory of the level of pain, it seems. 😬

Sorry you're having trouble, Neville. I've been having severe lower back trouble the past couple of weeks with pain that runs down my leg and someone told me it might be my sciatica. I'm not sure if that's what mine is but if it is I feel for you.

Thanks Christopher. Yep, that sounds a lot like sciatica, but the pain is shout out loud intense and often erratic and hits like an electric shock, only worse! Poor you if that’s the case. 😰

... in my case though, Christopher, the pain in my lower back is the least of my problems. I may have prompted it myself as, being autumn, I’m cutting back trees and shrubs and picking apples with a long pole, twisting and turning here and there.
