Called ‘The Pan’, the owners claimed it served the best deep pan pizzas in town. Its popularity seemed to support that claim.
The man in the brown mackintosh walked in but had to wait to be seated. He seemed incongruous compared to the other diners who were cool, bejeaned youngsters, all having a fun time. He was seated, ordered his pizza, ate it and paid his bill. He stood up to leave, coughed loudly to get the other diners’ attention before pulling open his mac and exposing himself.
But he never returned. It was just a flash in The Pan.

Forgive me and my complete lack of modesty, but as this is my 2500th drabble I thought I’d have a laugh. And we all need a laugh right now!😆

I noticed that when I slipped away two months ago I had hit 1800 and didn't even realize it.

I get dislogged (if such a concept exists🤔) automatically from time to time, otherwise I wouldn’t see them either.
