I woke up and continued to make my spaceship!

Next I joined Joe Wickes for my morning exercise. It was fun today because Joe dressed as Spider-Man. I wore my dinosaur costume!

Then I continued making my spaceship. I did lots of problem solving because there was a missing piece of Lego. I solved this by colouring a paper square, cutting it out and then sticking it to a spare white piece of Lego. Mummy thought I was really clever. (I did too, but she’s a teacher and she said it must be in my jeans)

“Really Mummy? Where?”

Thanks Drew. I think he’s have a good time in the lock-down. His mum’s there working with him on all sorts of educational stuff while baby Lily is asleep because she taught/teaches just above his age group. And his dad is able to work (effectively) from home and works with the little feller on stuff and has taught him to ride his bike without stabilisers. And now they’ve made a paper maché globe around a balloon and with a sea wash all over, the continents are next. Great fun; great learning.

He is very lucky and his folks are lucky that he has such a kind nature. Sadly, I suspect that many other kids aren't getting the attention he is. :-(

Great drabble, Neville. Sounds like the forced confinement is being put to good use.

Thanks Christopher. He seems to be enjoying himself a lot... and learning a lot too. So do all his cousins... but they are very motivated too.
