They called her ‘bossy boots’. Smaller than the other kids in her gang, this shy piccolo personette would control the others usually with just a look. She was the boss.
As an adult, teaching five year olds, many almost matching her diminutive stature, the same thing applied. Renowned for her ability to control her class without raising her voice, her ‘I’m having no nonsense from you’ looks and the ‘full name treatment’ were legendary.
Years on, nothing’s changed.
First there’s ‘the look’, and then ”Neville Hunt!” is all she has to say and I know I’m in trouble yet again.

Using all three names is what scares the hell out of me. My mom used to do that and then I had a girlfriend that did the same. I had to think fast to come up with some tall tales to get out of whatever caused them to use all three of my names!
