Love is in the air

The prettiest girl in the school. Everyone knew that, including her. The boys and some teachers would hang around her like snot on a toddler’s nose. But, like so many pretty, spoilt young women, she treated them all like shit. And still they hung around. The tough guys and even the geeks, one of whom was totally smitten, but hopeless. Brokenhearted. Hurting bad.

She walked to the school bus on February 14th, her bag crammed with Valentines cards from hopefuls. The drone that then delivered a heart shaped gift was pretty novel.
