Bigging up Christmas
The fatty was in the foyer. His white hair, beard and red robes and the cushion up his jumper might have been a real giveaway and greeted with joy. But this group of tiny tots looked distinctly terrified when this barrel of lard rolled in with his sack on his back.
“Hello children, have you had a good party?” he boomed. With encouragement from the teachers, they replied “Yes!”
Then each child got a gift from Santa. None wanted to get too close though. It was grab and run. Reaching a safe distance, Santa was thanked.
But I didn’t mind.

Getting the voice right was quite a challenge as my voice is quite distinctive and we didn’t want Little H guessing that it was me. I took the voice down an octave or two.... constantly aware of my wife’s warnings of not sounding too pervy! It wasn’t pervy, but scary! Sorry kids! 🎅🏼

Not sure if I got away with the cushion up my jumper, but it did make me decide not to get pregnant.
