Today’s the day. I’ve been waiting a whole week. So excited.
Roaming around the charity shop, looking for Christmas presents... (well you never know)... I’d seen her. She looked so impressive in the corner with her all-in-one woolly hat and sock. I sidled up, all casual like, then lifted her up and quickly whipped off her clothing. She shone back at me and then I knew I had to possess her.
The two pounds she cost was an absolute bargain. I was delighted.
But the call just came. Muddy conditions... today’s golf is off!
Our date must wait.

As I work in a Charity Shop this caught my interest immediately haha. Very funny.

Thanks LesleyAnne. I'm going back later today to see what other golf stuff they might have!

Nice one, Neville. I don't play golf much but I am a collector of vinyl records and you can come across some great finds in charity shops and flea markets, as we call them here (although I have no idea why).

Yeah, I go for the books in those places too. I like finding weird old things to read and listen to. I've bought old self-help albums from the 50's and an old double-LP called "The Power Of Inspired Salesmanship" and I'm not even a salesman!

...but we’re all salespeople, Christopher, from the moment we wake up. I think I even try to flog people things in my dreams...
