Homing..... instinct

‘JOHN YOU LIVE AT NUMBER 32’ it announces above the horizontal arrow. John, it seems, gets lost in the residential home for aged seniors. Notices all over the place provide him directions home.

You see, John has a record of making unwelcome visits to other residents, the majority of whom are women. There have been surprises. There have been complaints. There have been instances of two in a bed where there’s usually one. But the carers are kind, putting it down to dementure.

Personally I wonder if perhaps John is smart instead, playing forgetful. With men, the instinct never dies.
