I surprised my wife today. Not in a bad way I hasten to clarify.
“Not only were you the prettiest girl at the party of pretty girls, but you had the most exotic name I’d ever come across... every part of it.”
“You never told me that!” she said. “I always thought you didn’t like my name.... found it difficult to say.”
“No, I loved it. I wore it like a badge when I spoke of you; it had a poetic lilt, why even the initials rhymed; it suited you.”
“And so then you married me and ruined it!”
“Sorry!”

Thanks Drew. I always feel that whilst there is no hiding my name because it’s my Drablr presence, I need to keep the family reasonably anonymous. Her first name is still unusual, but quite coincidentally, my secretary had the same name when I worked in advertising and it was very odd when she invited us to a party hearing everyone calling my wife’s name. Cute girl, but my version was best!🙂 my wife’s names were all derived from surnames, Manx, Norman (Will the Conq and all that) and Welsh, although seemed like Hebrew to me, not that I had any knowledge of that particular language.

I'll always think of her as Mrs. H!
By the way, how's the young one doing that the Small Talk series is based on?
