What goes round comes right back round

Wednesday evening it’s the writers group in the Dun Cow with a lovely pint of real ale. This week it was my turn to do a turn. My presentation was entitled ‘The Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs of writing and publishing fast moving fiction on the fly’. I was taking the group through the practical and emotional elements of writing my grisly drabble novel. They were atttentive, participative and it went well.

Then came the raffle, an activity to swell (huh!) the group’s meagre coffers. I pitched in some homemade jam and three unwanted DVDs.

Naturally, I won the bloody DVDs.
