It’s only me!
An avid reader in my single digit years, I consumed books voraciously. That stopped in my teens and since then my life has become more focused on active rather than passive pursuits. I read very little, save for the absolute gems that pop up here on Drablr. I have become unliterate; I can, but I don’t.
I love people, but never cared to be their leader, neither have I wanted to be led.
I realise we are all plagiarists, influenced by our consumption, but when asked recently which writer I would most like to emulate, I could only say “me”.

Thank you Drew. It’s all true, even down to one of my writing group friends asking about who I wanted to write like. I could have no other answer than, perhaps, Enid Blyton 🤔 (It seemed a bit arrogant at the time, but to my shame, I’m not (or no longer) an avid reader of the things one ought to read. ☹️)
