Driving to work one dark February evening, the rain was atrocious, the puddles were atrocious, yet they were eclipsed, atrocitywise, by the behaviour of the oncoming drivers, all hell-bent on saving seconds on their journey home. Lights a blazing, wipers whirring and tempers mounting these lemmings charged headlong into the path of oncoming traffic who were stopping and swerving to avoid a crash.

On my way to work, the workers of Welwyn weren’t wending their weary ways home to the wife, they were rushing and racing with ruthless recklessness.

The tremendous tailback on the trunkroad was considerably karma though.
