As we took our little grandson to pre-school, we couldn’t help thinking back to when our oldest child went to nursery, the equivalent back then. He loved being there and playing with all the toys and, a social little boy, playing with other children. His favourite toys were the sit-in cars.

The problem came at the end of the session. My wife had to arrive half an hour early for pickup, because if she wasn’t the first mum in the room, he would be inconsolable.

Hard to relate that to the confident, relaxed company boss he is now!

    Good upbringing, no doubt.
