There's no need to tell you I love you.
You already know.
You've known since that day
When I'd courage to say
"I think I love you."

Tentatively...

I feared your response to my claim
What would you say.
With uncertainty feigned
An escape route I gained
I thought.

Hoping...

It could be the end of it all
Driving you away
So, that night in the dark
With small question mark
I dared.

Nervous...

I knew, for certain I knew
No modicum of doubt
Except... maybe you
Didn't feel that way too
