Heartbroken...

One of my great heroes... not the most famous rocker, but a very distinctive one. That sound, that voice... I'd recognise it instantly. My friends didn't really know him.... he was rather American! when they were heavily into Britband boys. I liked the sounds, the words, the voice and, like him, I wouldn't back down. I liked what I liked.

I fell free and learnt to fly with him, but kept it to myself. Then came the Wilburys and suddenly he was cool, even with my wife. He'd earned his place with those greats.

His heart broke and I'm Heartbroken.
