I've done stupid things in my life...to impress girls, save embarrassment or save money, but usually for a laugh.

Travelling on a roofrack didn't impress the girls within. (They probably thought 'What a prat!') So I didn't pull that night!

Having thrown a pint of beer over a flatmate who'd pissed me off, I escaped embarrassment by climbing out of the window, three floors up. Scaling down the building, I became a university legend... a stupid one.

I saved money fixing our TV aerial. The neighbour's children called me SpiderMan. Shortly afterwards, Rod Hull died falling off his roof. Gulp!!!
