Le Trip
The planning is complicated. Where will we meet up for a crack of dawn ferry to France? No bicyclettes for us. My pal has a new toy. He wants to play with it. I have a need to go to France for a few hours (long story; don't ask!). Day trip, in time for lunch. Seems like a plan.
Destination Calais. Countdown... three days to blast off. I worry about getting to the ferry on time while he worries about the restaurant choice. And the fish he will choose.
His life is in England, but his sole is in France.

Thanks Drew. He challenged me to a drabble match. There should be plenty of opportunity for drabblology on the ferries. We are determined to have a laugh too!

Thanks Jamie. Actually, drabbling with my mate is bound to be a challenge as he's always so competitive! (But at least he's driving because he wants to show off his new motor, so I can have a pastis or two!)
