I've been drinking it for a while now. Never a wine buff, I'd assumed it was a type of grape. However, it's not a type of grape, but a kind of grape, the wrinkly kind!

Sun drying withers the grape and concentrates the sugars within. This intensifies the flavours and, as a wonderful by-product, increases the level of alcohol in the resulting wine. I like flavour and I like strong wine, not to get pissed, but for the enjoyment of the flavour it carries.

I told my wine connoisseur friend, but all he gave me was a withering look.
