No bear behind

If you go back to the woods today
You're still going to be surprised.

I suggest that you close your eyes,
For every bear who yesterday fed
Cannot be seen
It's clear that they've fled
The aftermath of the terrible teddy bears' picnic.

Picnic's over for teddy bears
Over and done
They had their fun
Now they have run away
Not one creature even cares
That in their wake they've left food waste
And broken beds and chairs......

It made me cry, I wondered why...
Why yesterday that Goldilocks spoiled their picnic.
