Some called them a freak of nature. Others declared it a beautiful example of metamorphosis. Ordinary folk simply called them horsemen.

With the bodies of stallions, these creatures had the heads of men, hirsute, handsome, with flowing manes. They conversed as men. Conversation though was limited to discussing what or whom should be the focus of their unsatisfied male urges, emanating from their impressive undercarriages.

Human women or mares?

They approached the mares first, who fled, crying "Nay!"

Then, approaching a group of young women, they politely suggested a roll in the hay.

"Certainly not! Do you think we're whores!"
