Living on the flight path, you must take the rough with the smooth, peaceful tranquility with noisy reminders of jetters set on visiting places where major airlines wouldn't dream of flying.

It's fascinating to think of all those people in their tin cans, defying gravity for an hour or so and holding their breath as the smooth-tongued pilots lay them babies down on foreign tarmac in some out of the way places.

I've been one of them. I've travelled to lesser-known airports and travelled on to where I really wanted to go.

But they still piss me off!

Someone's in a mood LOL! Those winged beasts both natural and man-made seem to have it out for you.

The only flying contraption I've ever been in is a helicopter and that was enough for me. If I can't get there by automobile, train, boat or feet then I'm staying put!

I was in a mood, George, but given that I'm flying off to Greece later this year, I'm sure I'll get over it! And I'll be flying over my own house too (but I won't be there - hehe!).
Christopher, you need to suspend your prejudice and fly over to Europe sometime. I know we're Brexiting right now, but mainland Europe has amazing places to visit (and the UK's not bad either!).

I've always wanted to see the UK. A lot of my favorite bands are from there. But it isn't prejudice that keeps me on terra firma. It's fear!
