Ome is where the art is

I turned my hand to painting. I'd been a painter all my life - walls and ceilings.

I've never done this sort though. I bought the kit, easel, brushes, pencils, rubbers, palette, art paper and of course tubes of paint, acrylic in my case. Mrs H, an enthusiastic and creative art student, insisted I get the best, artist quality acrylics in 8 core colours. Cor! Costapacket!

I tried for 4 weeks, a complete novice. A slow learner, I wasn't really interested. I've moved on to drawing. I'm much better at that.

Mrs H is no fool. I'm giving her my paints!
