It was a holiday job. Good experience of what it's like to work in a factory. The kind she wouldn't get at school.
It was a chocolate factory, but she wasn't a Charlie. She felt happy with the perk of chocolate misshapes and the pittance she earned to enhance the meagre pocket money I gave her.
You've probably seen the chocolates, packed in tins resembling a traditional British phone box. She packed the chocolates, the same chocolates, but different names on the tins. Some bound for national retailer Tesco; others packed for exclusive Harrods. Big price difference; great marketing lesson.

It is amazing how people will pay more for the exact same product simply because it has a better brand name on it. That was a great lesson and great drabble.
