Uncanny
My wife said it was what had attracted her to me. It was remarkable to watch 'myself' on TV tonight. An uncanny resemblance to the me then. "It's you", she said, as we watched the 2 hour-long documentaries. I must say, I would have liked the resemblance to have gone further than just the looks... but anyway, he's a lot older than me. We both liked how he'd responded to the crass media questions, his answers ridiculing the ridiculous.
She says she's still attracted to me but maybe that's because I said I wouldn't want the Nobel Prize either.

I know I've drabbled this topic before, but my wife is convinced there must be some genetic connection somewhere. Me, I'm just nonchalant. It ain't me...babe.

Thanks, Drew.Yeah, that might have been a lost opportunity. They were on BBC4 last night and will probably be on iPlayer for a week. Very watchable stuff and I wanted to stuff my fists down the throats of some of the stupid arseholes interviewing him. In the words of the great Reg Presley... "prannets!" :-)
Btw, now their house move is over, to 5 minutes drive time from our house (yippee!) I will start reading your Apartment series (I'm feeling very guilty :-( )
