Which came first, the D or the V?

With little Harry, the first to succumb, the D was the first thing mum saw. The V, projected horizontally, was seen later just before I arrived to take her to see Bridget Jones's Baby. Smart outfit ruined, Harry yelling, that was enough baby for that night!

For mum it was V no D. For her mum it was D no V. For mum's partner's mum it was D and V.

This game of passing and throwing isn't one I want to join in or win.
