Hu am I

I taught PR to 100 journalists from Beijing to prepare them for Beijing 2008 Olympics. Each year, from 2003, I had 20 students.

The first group, the most senior, included presidents, famous BTV and radio presenters, editors of the top Beijing newspapers, chiefs of online portals. They introduced themselves to me.

"I'm Hua Wenwu... but my English name is Vanessa."

"I'm Mei Song... my English name is Maggie."

"I'm Weidong Yang... you can call me David."

"Hold on, hold on, hold on.... this isn't fair... I'm Neville Hunt, but you can call me Hu Nai Wei!"

And they all did!
