Thanks for your invitation to join you at Aldershot Barracks. I'm flattered you've included me among your invitees. Is it because I popped into your shop on the high street and signed up for more information to be sent to me? Looking through the stuff you sent, the skills, training, travel and excellent starting salary seem quite inviting.

What wasn't so good is what I might have to give for Queen and country. I'm already paying loads of taxes, but my life? That's too much!

So sorry I can't make it after all. Maybe invite someone else?
