Name-calling

"I'm in steel. It's all I know."

When surrounded by steel, you must be tough, but not always strong. My story's of mixed race. The dark side had been tortured when just starting to grow, sustained drenching with scalding water. But that side was also full of sweetness and good taste. The lighter side was a free spirit, floating in the wind, full of freshness, but hiding a surprisingly acerbic secret.

Pressured, but now mature, I approached the font to be baptised.

Freedom! But then came the name-calling.

"Who says I'm stout?"

But then I rationalised,...

"I'm not bitter!"
