Narrow miss

You can't get much better than Gold Medal at the Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show, the greatest such show in the world!

Daughter-in-law Ruth was on the planting team creating the glorious garden of mighty Cleve West. Of course he wanted a Gold to keep all the other Golds company. But much more, the whole team wanted Best in Show, for the third time. The team worked night and day. Me and Mrs H did childminder service.

Cleve's garden got Gold, of course... oh, and the Constructor's trophy.

Maybe next year for Best in Show hat trick.
